Sephora Mumbai Haul & List Of Brands Available

It finally happened: Sephora has opened its doors in Mumbai

If you’re a hardcore beauty enthusiast, then Sephora, to you, should be  nothing less than mecca.

I’ve been dying to visit Sephora for so long, initially, I wanted the hype to pass because my mind stops working in crowded places and after that something or the other kept me from going to the store. I literally crossed the store without entering because I was racing against time, imagine the heartbreak. Finally, I took the plunge and went for it. I did have a list but after getting disappointed by the term OOS, I decided to go with the flow and buy from whatever is available.

Wait…..I just realised that I have never done a haul post before, there you have it, my first ever haul, my Sephora haul!

Here’s what I got

Sephora Sheet Masks: Rs 430/- each

I have heard a lot of good things about the sheet masks from Sephora and these were the first that I picked. I was tempted to buy more but a voice from inside said ‘hey first try these two, you can always come back and buy more, Sephora is not going anywhere now’.

Sephora EyeLiner: Rs 960/-

A forest green eyeliner from Sephora in the shade 14 matte moss, was the next thing that I put in my basket. I am in love with the colour and I like the fact that it has very subtle, barely-there-shimmer because I am not a fan of chunky bits of obvious glitters in my eyeliner.

Sephora Body Butter: Rs 1760/-

I’m always suckered in by body butters and if you guys know me, you know how much I love The Body Shop body butters. I was running out of my Argan Oil Body Butter so I was planning to go to TBS to buy another one but these colourful tubs in the bath and body section from Sephora tempted me so much that I thought of trying one of these. TBS body butters have a strong scent, I wanted to buy a variant that has a mild fragrance so it does not interfere with any other fragrance that I am wearing and the Lagoon Nourishing Body Butter made for a perfect choice.

Soap & Glory Hand Food: Rs 550/-

I have extremely dry hands and I cannot function without a hand cream. For night treatment, I love the Neutrogena hand cream but I also buy pretty tubes for my handbag, workstation, bathroom vanity….obsessed much?? Yea that’s me!!! Soap & Glory Hand Food sounds fancy, looks cute, smells great, absorbs instantly and comes in a pink colour, these reasons were enough for me to grab this asap.

Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer Rhubarb: Rs 910/-

When Sephora is here, Burt’s Bees cannot be missed. I had to pick up something from this counter…..decisions, decisions…..I have a lot of lip balms so the lip shimmer in Rhubarb made its way in my basket. I am quite impressed with this baby, it’s unique enough to warrant a separate post so find the details when I review it here.

Guys, this is my teeny tiny haul from Sephora. I was prepared for a bigger damage to my card but most of the items I wanted were out of stock. I wanted to buy a lot of stuff from Benefit like their they are real mascara, push-up liner, tips and tricks book but it was a disappointment to see that none was available.

Sephora definitely holds up the ability to pacify all your beauty needs but seeing most of the stuff from my wishlist, not in stock, pissed me off so I cannot say that my first time at the store was a great experience  ….can’t say bad either.

Anyhoo, I am happy with my purchase and since my checklist is not crossed completely I will make another trip to Sephora, so yaieeeee to another haul post. Let me know your favourites from Sephora, I’m sure I’ll be well prepared for my next trip!
