My Experience With (Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms) “Whimsical Fantaisiste”

Packaging– The shiny twist up packaging of Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms is not the only thing to flaunt. They are launched in some pretty shades too! the number with the shade’s name is mentioned at the back.

Texture– The shade Whimsical Fantaisiste is moisturizing on lips and feels quite creamy. It slides well on lips without any patchy effect & feel, and that’s the best thing about Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms. It isn’t sticky at all!

Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms have glitters in it, not the ones that you can feel but it definitely shows and in a nice way. But if you don’t like glitters in your lip products then you won’t be happy with it. I somehow liked it! 🙂

The mint formula feels like a splash of cool Mentos rubbed on lips! It also tastes, slightly like mint but not too much! Whimsical Fantaisiste is not a bluish purple as it looks on “Emma Stone” (Actress) in one of the posters at the Revlon’s counter, but very much like a purple with pink tones in it. In 2-3 swipes I get the desired color so the pigmentation is nice and I like it.

Staying power– Since it’s a balm, I cannot expect it to stay on my lips for like forever! Just like a normal balm it would stay on me for 2-3 hours maybe but only if I haven’t eaten anything. It transfers too but which lip balm doesn’t! No I am not trying to sell it to you girls but I was well prepared in my head that such would be the case with it.

Exfoliate your lips well and Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms won’t accentuate the fine lines. 🙂

Turn On: Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms

1) Nicely pigmented.

2) Moisturizing on lips.

3) A cool Mentos feel is a new feature in these that I really like. After the balm is applied on lips I feel like the lips are plump but that’s just the feeling and no such effect can be seen.

4) Not just the good pigmentation but the color looks quite shiny and glossy on lips! So it’s a balm that is like a gloss which has glitters! Woohoo!! 🙂 🙂

Turn Off: Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms

1) The staying power can disappoint few.

2) Yes I said it- “It’s expensive”

3)  The glitter in it won’t make everybody happy.

4) After a meal the color disappears completely leaving few glitter particles behind. I don’t appreciate this effect.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- I loved the look and feel of Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms. Particularly the shade Whimsical Fantaisiste took my breath away. It’s moisturizing and feels minty fresh on lips! With an amazing pigmentation the color looks so live and juicy just like a gloss!

But if you are not into purples then it would be a completely different story for you. So swatch at the counter and see which shade works better for you.
