The Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter Beurre Corporel: Review & Swatches

Experimenting with new body butters my observation with the body shop body butters are going smooth and here I am with yet another body butter tub which I like a lot! In the past I have reviewed Pink Grapefruit body butter, Olive Body butter etc.

We all know that strawberries are great for health and skin. It’s a great fruit which is liked by many. It’s consumed fresh and also used in frozen form for various recipes. I like strawberry shake more than the fruit, that ways I don’t have to chew too much! (LOL)

Few years back I got a chance to taste strawberry Tiramisu, an Italian dessert and still rave about it! I loved it so much that while eating I forgot myself!

 My Experience With The Body Shop Body Butter Strawberry Body Butter

Packed in red plastic tub prettiness is at its best. All the information about the ingredients, shelf life, price and quantity are stated at the back of the tub. Pinkish in shade the body butter is light on skin and of great consistency which is spreadable. It is so soft on skin. As I opened the cap, I could smell a fresh fragrance of ripe strawberries.

The strawberry body butter is rich and creamy but not heavy at all. It keeps my hands moisturized and hydrated for almost 6 hours, after that it didn’t leave my hands dry but still if I am out I like applying it again to feel the freshness. The feeling is like coming straight from the shower and indulging in luxury! The best thing is the small tub can be carried everywhere without any hassle. Though the smell disappears after some time and I really wanted it to stay for a while but I guess its body butter and not a body mist so I shouldn’t be that greedy!

1)    It is a travel friendly packaging.

2)    It hydrates and moisturizes the skin.

3)    The tub looks small but using it regularly I can finish it within 2-3 weeks, so I can only imagine that with the bigger ones it would be like winning a lottery!

4)    Sweet fresh strawberry smell. Even the strawberries ice creams smell same..lol( Though I am not a big fan of strawberry flavored ice creams)

5)    It’s great for normal-dry skin.

6)    It’s not heavy on skin.

7)    The body shop doesn’t test on animals! Hurray!

Turn Off: The Body Shop Body Butter Strawberry Body Butter

1)    I bought it during the sales but usually these are a bit pricey! The 200 ml tub is for Rs 1095(online) and hence people can be a bit apprehensive about the purchase as they not sure whether they would like the smell and the work of it. In such situations getting the smaller tubs is recommended.

2)    The unhygienic tub packaging. Now it’s all clear …we don’t like dipping our fingers in it continuously! Hope to see these in some tube or some other kind of packaging.
