Skin Cottage Kiwi Bath And Body : Review & Swatches

Can’t believe its 2014 already and we just passed by the 1st weekend of the New Year. Hope you guys had a great weekend. Have you guys heard about a brand called skin cottage????? I was looking for few body washes at the store when the SA suggested to go for the kiwi exfoliating body wash but I wasn’t sure about the brand, hence gave it a miss but that beautiful bottle containing green gel with black orange and red exfoliators kept lingering on my mind. One day while shopping for some grocery I again came across this baby and without giving a second thought, I brought it home.

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS:

Skin Cottage Bath + Scrub Body Bath + Kiwi Gold Essence. The natural apricot kemel & jojoba beads gently cleans and helps remove dead skin cells. Formulated with fruits extract and scented with Kiwi Gold Essence fragrance, the body wash moisturizes to keep skin smooth, leaving a feeling of refreshing sensation.

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS TO USE: Pour skin cottage bath scrub onto palm or wet towel/sponge and apply onto body. Wash and rinse off.

PRICE: 260 for 400ml

MY EXPERIENCE WITH SKIN COTTAGE KIWI BATH & BODY:

As I have mentioned earlier that I wasn’t aware of the brand, later I found out that Skin cottage is a famous Malaysian brand dealing in soaps, shampoos, body and hand washes etc. Now coming to the performance I can summarize it in one sentence. It feels and works exactly like the  The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish which happens to be one of my favorites ( this one is cheaper though *happy dance*)  This comes in a simple transparent plastic bottle with a press and flip open cap. The bath gel is green in color, just like that of kiwi (I love Kiwi’s, wish I was born in New Zealand!!!! *sigh*) and has black red and orange exfoliating particles floating within. It has a very mild refreshing fragrance which does not linger for a long time. The exfoliater is very mild making the product suitable for daily usage. This gel does not lather much unlike most of the body washes but it is good enough to give a clean and fresh after bath experience. It exfoliates and moisturizes very well and regular usage of this product results in a soft and smooth polished skin.

INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER: I am quite impressed with this bath gel as it works well for me plus it makes a cheaper alternative to the body shop strawberry body polish.
