Maybelline Vivid Smooth Liner by Eye Studio Shade Peacock Green: Review, Swatches & EOTD

Maybelline vivid smooth liner eye studio is a cosmetic eye pencil to define the eyes. It’s available in various shades and home I brought the shade peacock green! It’s a creamy eye liner which can be applied directly on the lid or on the lower lash line as a kohl ( kajal). These pencil shades can be applied just directly on the lid after concealing the eye lids. The eye primer ensures longer setting of the makeup so if the lids are prepped and primed the results are always good!

MY EXPERIENCE WITH MAYBELLINE VIVID SMOOTH LINER BY EYE STUDIO

Maybelline vivid smooth liner by eye studio has a black body, its name engraved on it with white. It has a plastic transparent cap. Just like crayon pencils we used during our childhood days for artwork, these look amazingly adorable.

These are a very creamy and smooth pencil which are highly pigmented and glides on the eye lids and the lower lash line easily! Though this creamy part can be a little bothersome as the shade tend to stick to the lash and give an odd look. So we need to be careful when applying it as an eye liner. I like the shade quite a lot. It a brilliant shade which has a “green base” with a hint of blue in it. Though it didn’t do justice with the name, as the peacock green should be a darker green shade but anyways it looks good when applied so no worries! It is smudge proof and waterproof as well to some extent. It sits on my eye lids up to 5 hours which is quite a good time! I have applied it on the lower lash line as well and it didn’t sting so I am as happy as a clam!!!

1) Nice creamy and smooth texture which is beautifully pigmented.

2) Didn’t hurt my sensitive eyes!

3) It stays for long time on the lids.

6) Can be used as an eye liner or a kohl (kajal)! Colored kajal eye crayons are in vogue nowadays!

TURN OFF: Maybelline vivid smooth liner by eyestudio

1) The creamy formula sticks to the lash sometimes.

2) The tip of the eye pencil won’t give a sharp thin line for too long and then we need to sharpen it which will waste some product.

3) Now this is the biggest turn off of this product! The name of the shade is not mentioned anywhere on the pencil. I have no idea how the SA at the counter differentiated between the two shades peacock green and green which are quite similar. I searched everywhere in the blogging world to know which one belongs to me…lol..after hours of searching I realized both look quite similar to me. Luckily I found the text in which I mentioned its name! (phew)
