What MAC Lipsticks claim?

Packaging: Packaging is quite impressive. It comes in a classy black outer case with silver body inside. MAC brand name is endorsed with silver colour outside the lid and with black colour on the inner side of the case. It is very sturdy and travel friendly. There is no indication of colour from outside which is a big negative as it can be time consuming to locate the colour if you have a few. Being a limited edition, the packaging of Riri woo is classy, chic and awesome; also unique compared to normal MAC packaging. It comes in pink and rose gold and Rihanna’s signature engraved on the bullet and on the outer case too.

Description of Shades:

1.   Mac Candy Yum Yum: Candy Yum Yum is gorgeous bright neon blue toned pink; one of the attention grabbing and unique shade. The lipstick is a part of the permanent range. It applies smoothly and is highly pigmented; only one swipe builds up the colour. The colour is very beautiful and one of the bright shades which can brighten up looks n mood. It would suit medium to fair skin tones.

 2.   Mac Lickable : MAC describes Lickable as a “bright clean blue pink” colour. This one is a very pretty shade and one of a kind; it’s my favourite and instantly brightens up my face. It’s a crème sheen finish so does not dry out the lips or feather; in fact leaves my lips feeling hydrated and soft. It gives an opaque coverage, so good for pigmented lips.

 3.   Mac Amorous: MAC describes it as ‘Lovestruck Cranberry’. It is the perfect deep pink/plum colour. Can be described more as a dark reddish purple. This is a really gorgeous colour for all lovely beauties.  I love this colour; one of my favourites as it brightens my face and whole look. Finish is totally satin, appears a little shinier on my lips, can say semi-matte.

 4.    Mac Riri Woo: It is very pretty, eye catching, gorgeous n stunning red. The colour is absolutely show stopper which would suit all skin tones. I love the texture as it gives matte finish which stays longer as well. The colour is incredibly pigmented; one swipe gives full coverage. It goes very well with both Indian and western outfits. I love to wear with black Smokey eyes.

 5.    Mac Taupe: It is one of the pretty matte lipsticks which is light brown in colour and would suit all skin tones. It does stay longer without eating or drinking. But after fading it leaves a nice stain.You can add some gloss to give glossy effect to your lips. It does not smudge or bleed at all. As it is matte in texture, does not dry out your lips. It goes very well with all attires (Indian or western). You can wear this lipstick in office as well, so can double up as regular wear lipstick. It is quite impressive shade and must in everyone’s stash.

 6. Mac Russian Red: It is gorgeous and eye catching blue toned red. It is one of the flattering, glam red which would suit all beauties and can be worn with both western and Indian attires. Being matte lipstick, it is very easy to wear and does not dry your lips. The shade is very bright, perfect for night outs and evening parties.

 7. Mac Rebel: Aha!!! One of the bold shades I must say. It is a mid-tone cream plum or deep magenta with purple undertone shade. It is bold enough for evening parties but would look equally great for office hours if blotted with a tissue to make it light. It looks dark in tube (some vampy type) but on lips it looks perfect n gorgeous. The colour is so unique and eye catching; one of the flattering shades which would look great on all skin beauties. It can be worn with both western and Indian attires. It makes lips look healthier and plump and also gives the sexiest pout ever. It gives sheen/satin finish as per the name.

 8. Mac Craving: MAC lipstick ‘Craving’, the shade described by MAC as a burst of plum.Must have shade for all skin beauties; very creamy, soft and smooth lipstick with slightly bluish pink or can say mauve- pink plump shade with a subtle shine. This is a love at first sight lippie for me. It is quite moisturising and has a way of brightening up your smile. The amplified crème finish is designed to deliver opaque coverage and shiny finish.
