Mac Cremesheen Fan Fare A 72: Review & Swatches

I simply love corals. Well I guess who doesn’t…right?  Talk about corals and I am sold. While searching for a pretty pink lipstick at the MAC store I happened to see Mac Cremesheen Fan Fare  and since then I am a fan of it.

HOW I FEEL ABOUT MAC FANFARE CREMESHEEN

Mac Cremesheen Fan Fare has a creamy formula and slightly glossy. It glides smoothly without tugging or pulling the lips. But you have to prep your lips by scrubbing and moisturizing as cremesheen have a tendency to cling to the dry patches on your lips and it also settles into the fine lines.

But if your lips are moisturized well before applying the lipstick, it’s quite comfortable and doesn’t feel heavy. My crosswires lipstick is drier than this; fanfare is a little more moisturizing than crosswires.

Color wise this is a very pretty warm pink with a tinge of coral to it. It’s that perfect everyday color which can be used  for all occasions, allseasons, all moods. It looks good with Smokey eyes or even with a simple kajal, and a coral pink blush. It will suit fair to medium skin tones.

Pigmentation wise also fanfare scores well. It is much pigmented and gives its true color with the first swipe and if applied two swipes, then it will give you a solid color. MAC FANFARE cremesheen lasts for 2 to 3 hours on me after food and beverages and then starts fading.This also has macs signature vanilla fragrance.

TURN ON: Mac Cremesheen Fan Fare 

1)   I like the color of fanfare very much.

2)   It’s very creamy.

3)   Provides a comfortable wear.

4)   Nice vanilla fragrance.

TURN OFF: Mac Cremesheen Fan Fare 

1)   This lipstick settles in fine lines.

2)   Again the high price!

3)   Staying power should be more considering the price we pay for mac’s lipsticks.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER” – MAC FANFARE LIPSTICK IS A PALE PINK SHADE LIPSTICK WITH JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF SHEEN AND CREAMINESS. IT’S NOT DRYING AT ALL AND WILL GO GREAT WITH SMOKEY EYE LOOK. IT IS BEST FOR FAIR TO MEDIUM SKIN TONES.
