Lakme Eyeconic Pencil – Grey : Review, Swatches & EOTD

250 INR sounds good for an eye pencil…isn’t it?????? Especially,when they are the colored ones. Lakme has heard our plea and launched these awesome eye pencils in super awesome shades. My cousin has the lakme eyeconic in black and I tried it and fell in love with it then and there. I was a lucky bum because the very next month it was launched in five other shades namely Brown, grey, green, blue and OMG white …yes you heard me right…white it is!!!!!!

I had the other shades and white….. I am happy about it but still not getting in terms with the stark shade hence I picked up the grey one because the swatch seemed quite different from the other greys available.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE LAKME EYECONIC KAJAL

These colored pencil have the same packaging as the eyeconic black kajal , as in they come in a  slim, black retractable pencil with turquoise inscription over it except the white one. White comes in a white colored pencil. These pencils look super stylish and cute.

On application they come out to be very smooth and pigmented. The color shows easily on single stroke, however you have to give a second stroke for the color to be opaque and show up properly since its grey. They glide very easily without tugging or pulling the skin and since they are creamy, it’s easy to get a defined line out of it. The color is a very pretty grey with blue undertones which makes it a versatile shade catering to all skin tones however looks best on fair skinned beauties. These pencils don’t irritate the skin and are safe for the waterline and lens wearers. It’s completely smudge proof and waterproof.

These last for a good span of 8 hours on my upper lash line however on the waterline it managed only about 3 hours after which it started fading.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- I loved the eyeconic eye pencils and this particular shade has swept me off my feet, it’s very pretty and different, so yes it’s a must have and won’t even hurt anyone’s pocket.
