Lakme Clean Up Fresh Fairness With Vitabeads Facewash, Face Scrub, Face Mask: Review & Swatches

During summers all we want is something cool and refreshing that lifts up the mood and gives us some energy and yes the dehydrated face also deserves a treat. So when I saw these fresh pink tubes claiming to give salon style cleanup at home I grabbed them immediately.
I bought the three step regime of lakme cleanup, fresh fairness with vitabeads. No no fairness is not the word I got attracted to, it was ‘fresh’ that caught my attention.

What lakme says: Salon like cleanup now everyday at home

Scrub : its vitabeads and natural exfoliants are known to unclog pores to help remove blackheads dead cells and excess oil for deeply clean fresh and fair skin.

My experience With Lakme Clean Up Fresh Fairness Face wash, Face Scrub & Face Mask
Face Wash: This is a clear pink gel with small visible vitabeads. It lathers well hence very little quantity is required. It has a mild and fresh minty smell which is refreshing. While rubbing on the face very mild tingling is experienced and on washing it feels cool and fresh. It cleans thoroughly leaving the skin squeaky clean and rejuvenated. However it is slightly drying so follow it up with a moisturizer but it’s a great one especially for oily skin!

Face Scrub: The scrub is thick and creamy with medium sized scrubbing particles. It has a fresh flowery fragrance. It’s not harsh hence it sweeps away dead skin without being abrasive. Since it is creamy , it does not dry out the skin .

Face Mask: The mask is thick in consistency with a mild smell. It is clay based so will be good for oily skin, but it did nothing at all for my normal skin. When I used it separately I felt no difference even a day after and when used in conjunction with other two products , I felt again it did nothing.

Step 1 , 2 and 3 together

The face wash is refreshing and cleans away dirt and impurities.
The scrub when used after the wash provides a healthy glow to the skin as it removes dead skin effectively.
The mask did nothing as stated above and I felt it was a waste of time in fact it made my skin dry but yes will be great for oily skin.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- Great buy for the upcoming season if you have a normal or oily skin but I’d suggest for the mask look out for something more effective if you desire a perfect salon style cleanup. The products are average but good for the price tag & buy if you love LAKME for your skin care needs.
