Garnier BB Cream: Review & Swatches

This week seems to be an educational one. We will be learning alphabets that too in reverse order, yesterday was dedicated for CC and today is for BB. Okay no AA cream in the market so I spare you from that!!! Terms like ‘All-in-One’, ‘instant perfector etc seems fancy and attractive but at a price tag of 100,125,150, they seem too good to be true.

Having said that I feel that even if they moisturize, even the skin tone and have SPF, the price is justified (thought the real bb creams do much more) Garnier products somehow don’t work for me at all, so when this magical cream was launched, I was determined not to buy this one, but Deepika insisted and I was like come on…I can do that for you doll so I bought this cream and I am glad I did (Thanks Deepika!!!!)

So this review is for all those latecomers like me who haven’t tried this cream yet….

HOW TO USE:

Gently apply Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector to face and neck prior to sun exposure for instant coverage and correction as well as for protection. Reapply as needed

MY EXPERIENCE WITH GARNIER BB CREAM:

This BB cream comes in a tube packaging which makes it travel friendly and convenient. It has a mild fragrance which fades away within minutes. Only one shade is available but it will suit the Indian skin tones very well.

Well this cream is the easiest makeup I’ve ever used. If I have to get ready in 2 minutes flat, I use this cream because a small pea sized amount of this cream is enough to even out the skin tone and make it fresh and radiant without the hassles of blending and without the worries of looking patchy. It hydrates well so I don’t need a moisturizer (I have normal skin, people with dry skin might have to use it) it has spf so I can skip sunblock (not recommended though) and it works well as a soft, sheer, natural base so no need for a foundation unless you want heavy coverage otherwise it covers slight redness on the face but not dark circles. It is perfect for everyday wear, it is lightweight and comfortable and saves a lot of time. Stays fresh for 4 hours after that you have to reapply which again isn’t a problem because it takes only a few seconds to do this (and no mirror!!!!)
