The quest for Holy Grail products which would work for us never ends! This seeking makes us wonder from one store to another, trying various brands. When I buy a conditioner I look for certain qualities like, it should have the proteins so that it detangles my hair and makes it manageable and shiny. As I read at the back of Fabindia’s Aloe Vera protein conditioner bottle I was quite sure that it would serve the purpose!

MY EXPERIENCE WITH FABINIDA ALOE VERA PROTEIN CONDITIONER
Fabinida’s aloe vera protein conditioner comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a press button nozzle. The conditioner is pure white in colour. It’s clear and creamy and not runny, just the right consistency. I take more than two dollops of the conditioner which is an appropriate amount for my medium length hair. I apply it on my hair ends after washing my hair with my shampoo. It is important to let the conditioner sit on the hair for few minutes so that it can work well. Some just apply it on hair and wash it off in hurry but then this way it’s actually not able to do its work! It is advisable to condition the hair by leaving it for more than 2 minutes. How to deep condition?
If I have loads of time and have no plans going out anywhere I keep the conditioner for 10 minutes at least and cover the head with a plastic cap and wrap my head with a towel dipped in hot water. (Squeeze the towel after dipping it in hot water and wrap the hair). This way it gets deep conditioning which is very important for strengthening of the hair! Keep the hot towel for about 20 minutes at least. If the towel turns cold again dip it in hot water squeeze it and wrap the hair again. Lot of hard work? Yes it is:)
Anyways coming back to the aloe vera conditioner after washing my hair I feel that the protein conditioner did make my hair very soft and manageable, it washes off easily as well! I can now brush my hair smoothly and there are no tangles! No more dry hair and the shine is such which is easily visible and cannot be ignored. The smell of the conditioner if sniffed from the bottle is strong but when taken in palm the smell becomes mild which won’t bother you. The only thing that bothered me is that after few months the conditioner dries on the nozzle and it becomes difficult to take it out from that tiny hole, ultimately I have to open the cap which obviously as I said before I don’t like:( This is a bothersome point but I have to endure the consequences…Phew!
TURN ON: FABINIDA ALOE VERA PROTEIN CONDITIONER
1) Mild fragrance which lingers a little while and it is pleasant.
2) The product goes a long way as little has to be applied on the hair strands.
3) Detangles my hair and makes it shiny.
4) Regular usage made my hair softer!
5) Mild everyday conditioner!
TUN OFF: FABINIDA ALOE VERA PROTEIN CONDITIONER
1) The product dries at the opening of the nozzle which makes it difficult to use.
2) The effect of shiny hair is for just a day on my hair.
3) It may be an expensive option for some.
COSMOCHICS RATING: 3.98/5 (as it delivers what it promised it’s a mild everyday conditioner and didn’t promise anything out of the box. So for the honesty and the good/decent work it did to my hair I give it this rating)
“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- Fabindia’ Aloe Vera protein conditioner is a must try product if regular decent conditioning is on one’s mind. It didn’t give any extra bounce to my hair , and/as it’s not promising that either. It delivered a healthy sheen to my hair after regular use.
