Colorbar Matte Touch Lipstick Rouge A Levres 001 Rich Red: Review, Swatches & FOTD

Red is one of my favourite colour and this is not a secret anymore. For me the colour red is so passionate, energizing, ambitious and I have read somewhere that a person who loves it is said to be courageous and isn’t afraid to speak in front of a bunch of people!  (hehe)

Well anyways what I am here for is to talk about my latest purchase which I love too much. The lipstick I am talking about is from COLORBAR, it’s a MATTE TOUCH LIPSTICK in the shade “RICH RED”.

INGREDIENTS: Castor oil, Ozokerite, White beeswax, Petroleum jelly, Lanolin anhydrous IP, Candelilla wax, Carnauba wax, Paraffin wax, Light liquid paraffin, Butylated hydroxytoluene, Propylparaben, Tocopheryl acetate, Isopropyl myristate, Perfume, Pearls and pigment.

It features the glamorous properties of a matte lipstick with velvety finish which will make you fall in love. This amazing lipstick has intense color that is creamy, soft and glides smoothly on application simply moisturising and incredibly wearable yet absolutely matt.

Line the lips with a suitable lip liner. Press the bullet to the lips using even pressure to apply color on both upper and lower lips: To refresh and even out, press lips together. Using a lip brush gives a richer and more precise color application

PACKAGING: The mirror shine sturdy packaging is attractive. The cap of the lipstick is tight enough and it won’t come out if you keep it in your bag. In the past I had few lipsticks of which the cap came out and it dirtied the inner lining of my bag with its colour 🙁 . The lipstick (bullet) is pointed well and it helps to apply the lipstick on the lips very well!

SHADE: My all time favourite…a true beautiful bold red! It’s nicely pigmented and just one swipe gives a nice colour.

TEXTURE: Though it’s a matte finish but it’s not drying at all. It’s creamy enough to glide onto the lips easily! It isn’t heavy yet it’s moisturizing which takes good care of the lips. It does transfer.

STAYING POWER: it can actually stay all day if applied properly and didn’t disturb the pout with  instant munching. But obviously it’s not possible to go somewhere dressed up and not eat anything…right?

Well my beautiful matte thingy stays on for 5 hours. It didn’t settle into fine lines and stays back as a nice stain.

THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS ON ME….I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHY I AM LOOKING THAT WASHED OUT!

AFTER SEVERAL HOURS IT LEAVES THE STAIN

1)    Its matte yet not drying.

2)    Staying power is good.

3)    It comes with sun protection (however how much spf is not mentioned).

4)    It doesn’t bleed.

5)    It’s moisturizing.

6)    It’s very well & amazingly pigmented.

2)    Did you see the ingredients list? Paraben! 🙁

COSMOCHICS RATING:  4.60/5 ( i usually cannot use matte lipstcik because they can be really drying, but this one is a sure winner!)

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- I love the red colour but I am certainly not happy with the price! But since the pigmentation is so well and with it, it keeps my lips well moisturized. Though a matte finish it feels buttery and rich on lips & hence I cannot help myself from falling in love with it!
