A sheer wash of creamy, lightweight shadow. Layerable, long-wearing and versatile, too. Glide one on for a swift wash of color. Contour with another to add depth, and yet another to highlight. There’s no need to stop at just one.

DSCN3886My experience With Clinique Chubby Stick Eye Shadow Tint 07 Pink & Plenty

These eye shadow tints come in the same packaging as the Clinique chubby for lips…yeah the same fat, retractable crayons with a silver cap. Simple but cute. The color of the tube is same as that of the eye shadow which makes it easy to locate.

These are available in 12 beautiful shades ranging from light to dark, semi-sheer to sheer.

The color pink & plenty was love at first sight for me, I was totally blinded by this beautiful pink with a golden sheen which was not gritty. On swatching it gave kind of 3d effect because it looked more of golden than pink to me but when you see it from different angles, its sometimes pink and sometimes golden( if only that makes sense!!!!! ) On application, the color looks different on everyone. For example, on dark lids its more golden and on very fair ones its pink, so you will have your own shade according to your complexion.

These sticks are not creamy as I had expected, on the contrary they are dry and slight tugging and pulling the skin is experienced on application. Pigmentation wise the color is very sheer and not buildable at all because when you try to build it up, it kind of flakes and looks dry and patchy too. When I want to make it work, I build it up and even it out with my finger tips. I feel that it looks best if it’s used with light hands and not layered, it’s very sheer that ways but that’s how the color is.

It works as a very light golden all over lid color which has a hint of pink, so don’t try to look out for the pink in it and keep layering otherwise you will be disappointed. It can also be used as a base color or even a highlighter for the brow bone or the inner corner of the eyes ….so it’s versatile that ways.

The other colors however I’ve read are not as dry as this one. The staying power is good …it stays for 5 hours without primer and 7 hours with it that too on my oily lids without budging so that’s great. After this span it starts fading.

1) Pretty shade

2) Easy to use

3) Convenient packaging

4) Versatile shade

Turn Off: Clinique Chubby Stick Eye Shadow Tint 07 Pink & Plenty

1) Slightly dry when layered.

2) Staying power is good but not according to the heavy price tag it comes with!

3) I am not very happy with the Pigmentation. It’s so sheer!

COSMOCHICS RATING: 3.5/5

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- I love the shade and the concept of just swoosh and go for the eyes where no brushes required. But if you are looking out for opacity or you are a pro in eye makeup and want to use your brushes then this is not for you.

WE LOVE TO HEAR FROM OUR READERS

HAVE YOU TRIED THESE STICKS? HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE?

  1. Even though you are not happy with these- I think they look fantastic. It does not scare me at all that they are dry and sheer- because I have a very oily lid I am thinking these might be perfect for me! The look you came up with is fantastic! Hugs!

  2. I have used Clinique all about eyes as well as Made from Earth’s Chamomile Eye Cream. There’s no comparison IMO. Made from Earth Chamomile hands down. I did like applying the all about eyes cold out of refrigerator. It’s perfect consistency for that. Saw a major difference in 1 week, and Im still using it and seeing results. Clinique products are just not worth the price anymore.
