Hey Guys, I love lip crayons…!!!!! I have my own reasons, they make me reminiscent of my school days when I used to draw the weirdest of drawings in my art classes and wait for the teacher to pat my back, unfortunately I used to get POOR on the sheet (excuse my Ma’am she was old school, didn’t appreciate modern ART) Coming on to my love for lip crayons, I’ve tried almost all (Clinique, Revlon, Lakme) so how could I miss this one from Bourjois? Hence I bought this pretty Fuchsia crayon.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH BOURJOIS PARIS COLOR BOOST GLOSSY FINISH LIPSTICK

Color boost lip crayons come in a retractable chubby stick. The color of the stick is same as the crayon making it easy to locate from your stash. So yes, the packaging is very much like the other sister crayons available in the market.

The texture is rich and creamy. It melts on application, glides like a dream and is very moisturizing. You will not require a lip balm underneath. It does not settle in fine lines in fact it hydrates the lips giving them a plump and healthy effect. It’s glossy &non-sticky and feels very light and comfortable. The texture is definitely better than all the other I have used till date.

These crayons are available in 4 beautiful shades (Red , Fuchsia,orange and Peach) Red is the most pigmented of the lot followed by Fuchsia and orange. Peach is quite sheer.

I own the shade 02 which is a cool toned Pink. It’s suitable for almost all skin tones. The pigmentation is good enough to give opaque coverage to the lips in a single swipe. The shade is not an over the top bright pink in fact it comes out as a very pretty deep pink color with the right amount of shine. The glossy effect stays only for an hour, the color lasts for 4-5 hours and the moisture for about 7 hours.

INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER: The product fails to live up to the 10 hour claim but still I find it to be a descent buy comparing it to the other crayons which are available at a higher price tag.
