Hey Chikas,
Oily Scalp and Dry Hair is my story as narrated in my previous posts. Sad part is that I have to take a head bath everyday and the happy part is that I have found my true love that is Forest Essentials Cleanser Bengal Tuberose and Forest Essentials hair Cleanser Madurai Jasmine & Mogra. I am very happy with my forest essentials shampoos for my daily washes but once a week I give my hair a treat with some of my favorite L’Oreal products.
Now the funny part of the post will be that I use three different products which do not belong to the same range but hey, the serious part is that it took me ages to find the right combination of products!
Shampoo conditioner followed by serum is a good practice but really guys it is not necessary that you use all the above said products from the same range. Let’s take my case for example: If I use something that satisfies the problem of dry hair then it will be moisturizing enough to make my oily scalp oilier, on the contrary if I use products focusing on the oily scalp that I have, it will definitely be dry enough to make my hair even drier. TMI huh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways so I use a combination of L’Oreal products from different ranges to balance out the equation so read on to know what it is!!!!!!
My Combination:
L’Oreal Professional Force Vector Shampoo
L’Oreal professional X-Tenso care intense nutria-reconstructor masque
L’Oreal professional Liss Ultime Reflexium Serum
My Experience With L’Oreal Professionnel Force Vector Glycocell Anti-Breakage Shampoo
Price: 500
Quantity: 250ml
Key Ingredient: Glycocell
USP: Reinforcing anti-breakage shampoo for fragile, brittle hair: formulated with glycocell. Hair fiber is fortified and protected, leaving hair soft, shiny and feeling stronger.
This shampoo that is formulated for dry brittle hair helped me in getting relief from breakage and hairfall. It is gentle on my hair but removes oil from my scalp and leaves my hair soft, shiny and clean.
My Experience With L’Oreal Professionnel X-Tenso care intense nutria-reconstructor masque
Price: 600
Quantity: 200ml
Key Ingredient: Pro-Keratine + Incell
Usp: L’Oreal professional X-Tenso care intense nutria-reconstructor masque with anti-breakage and anti-dryness action, deeply nourishes, softens and reinforces hair fiber to optimize the result of straightening or relaxing process.
This is step 2 of my hair pampering session and you might find it funny that I am using a masque meant for straightened hair (without going through any process of straightening) but I swear by this product from L’Oreal and have been using this from the past three years. Massage it on towel dried hair, leave for 5 minutes and then rinse it off.
This helps in getting rid of the slight dryness caused by the shampoo and I totally love the after effects. The results are drastic. I get silky smooth and shiny hair which always feels good whenever I run my fingers through them. The best part is that is does not weigh my hair down.
My Experience With Loreal Professionnel Liss Ultime Reflexium Expert Serum
Price: 580
Quantity: 125 ml (lasts really long)
Key Ingredient: USA reflexium
USP: this shine perfecting serum control suppleness and shine for unruly hair in one step.
This is step three and although my hair feels great after the shampoo and the masque routine, still I follow it up with this serum. This serum is my favorite as it is very light. It nourishes the unruly ends and keeps them nourished thus preventing split ends. It also adds shine to my hair.
“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”– So this was my hair care routine from L’Oreal, which I follow once in a week and love it totally!!!
