Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturising Body Oil: Review & Swatch

I have a normal face skin but when it comes to the rest of the body I would say that it tends to be a bit on the dry side.

So when it comes to trying new moisturizers and body oil, I am always up for it.

Today I will talk about body oil which hails from US. It’s “Palmer’s”.

    Palmers moisturizing products have been quite a hit for some time now.

Product Claims: the packaging says that it is very light oil specially formulated with vitamin e and cocoa butter to soothe rough dry skin and it absorbs quickly.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH PALMER’S COCOA BUTTER FORMULA MOISTURIZING BODY OIL

This cocoa butter body oil carries the signature cocoa butter fragrance which is very mild n sweet. Lingers on for only about 20 minutes and then fades away.

The bottle comes in a transparent bottle with a flip cap containing light yellow oil.

I have used this body oil in a number of ways.

1. Applied it a few minutes before a bath and then rinsed off with a shower gel.
2. Added 1-2 caps oil under running water for a moisturizing bath.
3. Applied it on damp skin after shower and pat dry.

Out of all these methods, I liked the last way most; it gives the relevant amount of moisturisation and makes skin soft. With the first method, I don’t get enough moisturizing and with the second one I don’t like bathing with oily water (J), it just doesn’t give me a squeaky clean feeling!

I am on the second bottle of this oil and I absolutely, without any doubt, adore it! I bought this bottle when I was looking for some serious moisturisation and thumbs up for it, as it’s like a blessing in disguise for me.

TURN ON: PALMER’S COCOA BUTTER  BODY OIL :

1)   Quickly absorbs into the skin.

2)   Moisturizes very well.

3)   Leaves skin smooth and as soft as silk!

4)   Nice mild fragrance.

5)   Got a 40% extra in it…definitely a turn onJ

TURN OF: PALMER’S COCOA BUTTER BODY OIL :

1)    The sweet smell lingers for only 20 minutes! At the cost of RS. 500 I was looking for some fancy qualities as well, like the smell should linger on for some more time, considering that it’s the Palmer’s signature fragrance.

No other disadvantages are there apart from the one mentioned above.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- TO MAKE THE BEST OF PALMER’S COCOA BUTTER BODY OIL, APPLY IT AFTER SHOWER AND PAT DRY. IT MOISTURISES THE SKIN WELL AND KEEPS IT HYDRATED. IT HAS A VERY PLEASING VANILA SMELL, WHICH IS ITS, SIGNATURE SMELL AS WELL.
