MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection blush Seduced at Sea: Review, Swatch

MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection has allured me so much! The packaging is very unique and pretty. This is one collection where you won’t find anything in matte finish. This collection is more of shimmers, pearls, glossy lips with extra dimension eyeshadows and blushes!!!

Somehow I managed to shortlist 3 products from this collection- Goddess of the Sea lipstick, extra dimensional blush- Seduced at Sea and pearl glide eyeliner- Black Swan. Let’s begin with MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection blush- “Seduced at Sea”.

What MAC Claims: A liquid-powder blush with prismatic reflections in two shimmering shades. Impact ranges from sheer crystallized light to a highly polished metallic effect. Lasts up to six hours. Limited-edition teal packaging, dramatically accented with sheer water droplets.

The packaging of Mac blush Seduced at Sea – OMG!! I am sure most of the people were actually attracted towards the packaging more. The teal sea blue glossy metallic packaging is a stunner! I have never seen anything like this,you can actually feel the water droplets  when you touch it as if it has been splashed with water. The whole idea is so innovating. The packaging is the main attraction of this Collection. Gorgeousness!!!!!!

My Experience with MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection blush Seduced at Sea

 MAC describes “Seduced at Sea” as mid tone Neutral Plum. I can see neutral tone, but plum??? … I don’t think so. When swatched it looks more of a rosyshade.

I like this shade more than “Sea me hear me” – another blush from this collection. The reason why I picked a blush from this collection is because I don’t have any extra dimension blushes so far, plus the packaging looks incredible. “Seduced at Sea” is the lighter version of “Sea me hear me”. When I swatched both the shades side by side I, hardly found any difference. I like Mac blush Seduced at Sea more because it is subtle and can be used during day time without going overboard.

The formula of these extra dimension blushes is extremely soft and easily bendable. It’s is very smooth and has perfect sheen to it (not frost). They are quite pigmented. In the pic below if you can see the difference, left one is heavily swatched and right one- after blending.

It looks warmer when blended. It lasts on me for 4-5 hours without fading at all. The sheen of this blush gives an extra glow to my cheeks. It is very wearable shade for day and night time (though I prefer darker shade during night time).

1)   The packaging is extremely good. I love to touch and feel those tiny droplets.

2)   Love the soft rosy shade.

3)   Blending makes the shade look warmer.

4)   Gives healthy glow to cheeks.

5)   Very smooth texture that is butter soft.

6)   Blends easily!

7)   Lasts for around 4-5 hours.

8)   Can be used daily – during the day as well as night.

9)   The name “Seduced at Sea” is quite seductive 😉

Turn Off: MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection blush Seduced at Sea

1)   Mac’s price! They are driving up the price crazily!

2)   Availability can be a problem. 🙁

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”– Am I buying anything else again from MAC Alluring Aquatic collection? Definitely Yes!!!! Treat yourself good by buying something from MAC Alluring Aquatic collection before it gets sold out. Eye shadows and blushes have an excellent formula and are worth trying. I loved Pearl-glide eyeliner’s, long staying smudge proof formula as well.Goddess of the sea and mystical lipsticks from this collection are my favorites. The highly polished metallic effect, dramatically embellished with sheer water droplets packaging is something everyone would lust for!
