With so many pink lip colours around, I am in utter fascination and feel like a kid in a candy store. I have reviewed some products from the la vie en rose collection a few days back and today I have few more to share. L’Oreal Paris has created a small world of pink lipsticks this time, where we can live our #LifeInPink with the la vie en rose collection. So turn on your ‘pretty in pink’ vibes to rock the girly girl colour this season.

L’Oreal Paris Collection Exclusive J Lo’s Pink: A deep berry pink with subtle shimmer. It looks quite bold in the bullet but goes sheer on the lips. This colour is perfect for days when you want to add a little boost of colour to thy lips and want it to be a bit loud and fun but not too vampy. This shade will suit all skin tones.
L’Oreal Paris Collection Star Doutzen’s Pink: A blue based pink which I thought would be difficult to pull off but surprisingly it looks gorgeous on fair to medium skin tones. It has comparatively less of shimmer, feels more creamy giving a smooth finish without settling into fine lines.
L’Oreal Paris Collection Exclusive Fan Bing Bing’s Peony: A milky pink shade which goes on a bit streaky while application. It’s a very light shade and will work only for very fair skin tones.
L’Oreal Paris La Vien Rose Katrina’s Orchid: This is my favourite, it’s a bright pink shade that will work across all skin tones.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Collection Star Vernis Aishwarya’s Pink: Bright Fuchsia pink. A gorgeous hot pink for the summer season. Pair it with your flowy breezy pastel dresses or even your LBD, it will be equally gorgeous both ways.
“Info On A Siver Platter”
These lipsticks are not opaque and true mattes, they go sheer, have to be built up and last for 3-5 hours. The shimmer is not gritty and it imparts the juicy shiny finish to the lip colours. They are not drying on the lips but a few shades have a tendency to cling to dry flakey bits or settle into fine lines which can of course be sorted out by proper exfoliation and moisturization.
The entire range has a lot of options to choose from, L’Oreal ensures that you find that one pink which is just meant for you. In the end I’ll just say “ Je vois la vie en rose” (French, you see 🙂 ….go google it up *wink wink*)
