I guess all…..your search ends right here with L’oreal Paris launching their Pure Reds Star Collection.

They have come up with 7 most stunning shades that can ever belong to the family of reds.You will surely find your perfect red in this collection irrespective of your age or skin tone. ( Read more about the collection here.)

Lets start with the swatches of all the shades in the Pure Reds Star Collection.

Pure Fire (Li Bing Bing) : A beautiful orange shade with red undertones. It instantly brightens up medium to fair skin tones.It has extremely fine shimmers in it which are barely visible. This is the least pigmented of the lot and shows its true color only after two swipes.

Pure Vermeil (Fan Bing Bing) : Its a pink with red undertones or I shall say a coral-pink shade. Again it looks flattering on medium to fair skin tones.

Pure Amaranthe (Gong Li) :This is a bright pink with a red base and it looks gorgeous on almost all skin tones. If true bright red is not your thing then you can try this one,I am sure it will make you fall in love with it.

Pure Garnet (Sonam Kapoor) : Looks more of a brown in the tube but its a berry-burgundy kinda shade and is the show stopper of the collection. Its an amazing shade that will make a statement on its own. It can be pulled off by all skin tones and all ages.

Pure Scarleto ( Blake Lively) : A pure tomato red shade which looks stunning.

Pure Rouge (Frieda Pinto) :This is similar to pure scarleto,just a bit deeper.

Pure Brick (Aishwarya Rai) : This is a brick red color. It’s brown base makes it an easy to wear shade.It has some shimmer in it which is not at all visible.

Color Riche Pure Reds by L’Oreal Paris are soft matte lipsticks that glide on easily without any tugging and pulling. If you have really dry lips then I will suggest using a lip balm underneath otherwise these are quite comfortable.

Pure Fire is the only shade that requires two swipes, otherwise these lipsticks are quite pigmented to show thier true color in just one swipe.On an average they survive meals and last for good 6 hours. They tend to leave a stain after that, so even if you don’t touch-up you will not have bare lips, until you remove it with a makeup remover.

These are priced at INR 995 which I feel is reasonable after actually using them.
