Once Upon A Tattoo In Hyderabad: Do’s & Don’t s For Getting Inked!!!

Being a person who’s scared of needles, Tattoo will be the last word that would come to my mind. But yes, I’m married to a crazy man who loves taking up all the possible challenges and is adventurous to the core.

He has been craving for a Tattoo for almost a year and I kept brainwashing him, but this time I couldn’t delay it as The Tattoo Maestro Sameer Patange was visiting Hyderabad for a Tattoo Fest at The Park Hyderabad. Sameer is known for inking art on the skin of all the Bollywood Celebrities and yes my husband was not in a mood to miss this chance.

More than having a tattoo, it’s important to have a design in mind. A design with which, one can connect and relate to. Rahul wanted his first tattoo to be special and nothing is more special than the bond that we share. So he decided to get our initials done. ARUNIMA & RAHUL( A+R).

I decided to be with him all through the process, though I was scared but I wanted to see the minute details and of course I wanted to know how much it hurts. Sameer is known for using organic inks which are devoid of all chemicals and hence this was the safest way to go. He almost convinced me to get myself inked but still I will need a lot more courage to go under his needles.

Rahul was excited and he managed to stay calm all through the process. And since we were doing a simple and small design the whole thing got over in almost an hour and there he was a happy man with his first tattoo.

Unfortunately it does not end here, after the first awesome experience my husband now wishes for a series of all his crazy designs to be inked on his body.

Some do’s and don’ts while getting inked:-

Do:-

1)   Have a design in mind.

2)   Stay Calm and Focused.

3)   Trust the person completely who’s going to ink the tattoo.

4)   And take complete post care required.

Don’ts:-

1)   Do not consume alcohol, before getting inked.

2)   Do not take any drugs or pain killer medication on your own.
