My first Ramp Walk For A Cause….!!! A Very Special Women’s Day Celebration…!!!

Life is unpredictable and always full or surprises. We humans always plan things, but life plays a different ball game and throws bunch of surprises and shocks in our way. Never ever in my wildest of dreams I could have imagined to be a model, that too in a different country. I know as girls we all nurture secret dreams, and I’m sure all of us have played dress up in our childhood, tried our mother’s high heels & lipstick and admired ourselves for hours. But yes, it gets all different as we grow up.

And however old we may grow, but we girls love dressing up, following new trends & fashion, experimenting with make-up and jewelry…And it’s so much fun. Isn’t it?

So China has been a like a window of new experiences and opportunity for me, and I feel so blessed to have met the right bunch of people who are so full of life and positivity. It was just another day after a great Mexican Brunch, my friend Wendy asked me to Model for an event. Without questioning any other details I just said YES…!!! ha ha ha

So later I got to know this Fashion Show was being organized for an International Women’s Day Event by Roundabout (which is a social enterprise being run by volunteers in Beijing). My friend Wendy runs a Cashmere Clothing business in Beijing and also an extension of her Optics business in China.

So few of us fortunate expat ladies got the golden opportunity to showcase the beautiful Cashmere clothes, some luxury shades ranging from brands like Tomford, Chanel etc and exquisite jewelry by Shayne’s Treasure & Clicia’s Design. I wish I had some close-up images of the jewelry, coz those precious stones and gems were breathtakingly beautiful.

So my first official ramp walk was destined to be in Beijing and that too for such a noble cause, as all the money raised through the event was used by Roundabout for Charity.

It was sheer fun being a part of this event and more than that it was fun modelling…!!! I hope all you lovely ladies will enjoy these pictures:-

This was one piece Cashmere dress, in a beautiful pink shade. Teamed with beautiful earring and ring & a gorgeous hand clutch by Shayne & Clicia. And those gorgeous TomFord Shades made me feel like a princess.

This one was a beautiful and vibrant orange colored Poncho that can be worn as a shrug too. Unfortunately didn’t get a clear picture, but sharing this one just for an idea. Teamed with sleek leggings and beautiful black stone jewelery, a pretty orange & black hand clutch and the funky orange shades.

And this one was my favorite one, obvious reason being the dazzling RED Colour. Its a beautiful Red Cashmere Top, teamed with a black mini skirt. Accessorized along with those dazzling earrings and a stunning Lady Bug Broach Pin done in a beautiful red stone and diamonds and a plain black clutch. This was surely my Show Stopper Ouftit.

And these are all the beautiful ladies who were part of the Fashion Show, including the Clothing designers and the accessory designers.
