My All Time Favourites, List Of Best 15 Comedy Movies ( Hollywood)

We all need humor in our lives, a good laugh! Whenever I am a little low or miss my family/ friends I run towards my laptop to watch a movie which involves a good laughter! Of course neither a laptop can replace the person you missing nor can one be in a relationship with it but, during the past many years it has become my savior!  So here I am with my Favourite 15 comedy movies I, keep on watching again and again, IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER! 1)    DUMB N DUMBER– what can be better than road trip, friends and comedy! This movie is the amalgamation of all the three factors making it not just a must watch but makes it to my all time favourite list. Whenever in low mood and searching for a good laugh I know which CD I need to play on!

2)    DEATH AT A FUNERAL ( 2007)– I am sure that all of us have our share of good and bad times. The good we talk about, but bad we don’t like talking most of the time. So, what if I say that at a funeral there is a family who faces a lot of problems one after the other and those problems would make u laugh! Sounds cheesy? U gotta see this one! Be prepared for a good laugh!

3)    THE PINK PANTHER (2006) – OMG! This is one detective movie which would make you laugh at each point of the watch. Though there are a number of sequels but my favourite is the 2006 release! Steve Martin acted way beyond amazing and watch Beyonce as she looks absolutely drop dead gorgeous.

4)    MR. BEAN’S HOLIDAY (2007) – okay so how can lottery prize money and gift brings a lot of twist and turns into Mr. Bean’s life is perfectly portrayed in this movie. Right from the first scene till the last one I was hooked to it completely! Rowan’s innocent foolish acts will make you wonder at times but you would enjoy every second of it.

5)    RUSH HOUR  part 1 ( 1998) & part 2 (action-comedy)- A movie starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tecker, do I need to say more. An action packed movie with all fun scenes!

6)    The hangover (part1, year 2009)– Wedding, bachelorette party, goof ups, adventure, friends, “The hangover “ is all about  some real fun. And I am still confused as to this is my cult favourite or “ zindagi na milegi dubara”, which is also on a similar story line.

7)    Without a Paddle (2004)– I am really not sure that only I am a fan of “adventure-friends-fun” type movies or they really need some more due credit. This movie will make you fall in love with it during the first few minutes and excited you will sit back to know what’s happening next! An amazing adventure movie with friends is such a beautiful idea to spend a weekend!

8)    How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days ( 2003)–  If you really want to know how to lose a guy in 10 days watch the movie!( lol) A highly entertaining piece, acted so well that it just feels so real! Loved kate Hudson in it especially! The last scene of the movie is a total paisa wasool moment! Also it would make a great Valentine’s Day movie with your love! Ah don’t worry there is a happy ending involved!

9)    Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)– Aww, such a cute movie. Though the starting is a bit rough as a man breaks with his love but even that moment in the movie is hilarious. Mila kunis & Kristen bell both are looking awesome in the movie. Russel brand’s song “Inside me” is funny and you will fell of your bed watching how he danced on it! (ROFL)

10)  BRIDE WARS ( 2009)– A beautiful romantic comedy movie. Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway left no stone unturned to make this movie just “perfect”! Teaser- the wrestling scene in the wedding gowns should not be missed by you!

11) Meet the Fockers  (2004)– Two completely different families when meet, then it’s very common to face a lot of confusion. This is a movie where the confusion we be loved by you. Two people, a girl and a boy decide to introduce their parents and then there is a lot of fun to be watched.

12) I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007)–  If you loved bollywood’s flick “Dostana” then you sure are watching the correct movie! Chuck and Larry, two straight men, start living as a couple to receive some benefits.

13) There’s Something About Mary (1998) – If you are a hardcore Cameron Diaz fan then this is a must see. But I am sure you would have seen the bollywood movie “Deewane huye paagal” where almost all scenes are lifted from “There’s something about Mary”.

14) Date Night (2010)– A couple’s common marriage life turns into something thrilling all of a sudden. Full of funny scenes and a lot of adventure!

15) Easy A (2010)– A perfect teen comedy movie starring Emma Stone. What more can I say! I just love this cute movie and love watching it with my friends when they come over!
