I have been watching couple of skincare regime videos on youtube and saw an interesting product called konjac sponge. I was thrilled and excited to see a product which is a cleansing sponge without any chemical compound infused in it… how cool is that!! I googled and researched on how it works and the way it can be used and finally settled with very interesting facts which I am going to share today. 😀

It’s mere luck that I got this sponge and asked my friend cum sister to send me from Singapore. There are many companies in market who manufacture Konjac sponges but the one I got is itself from the house of Konjac Sponge Company!

My Experience With The Konjac Sponge

Konjac Sponge Company is based in UK and is one of the leading suppliers all over the world. I got mine with RED CLAY FACIAL PUFF SPONGE and it is for dry and sensitive skin.

It is said to be gentle and soft on skin, making it radiant and rejuvenated. French Clay as we all know is rich in minerals like iron oxide which is very good in blood circulation and impart natural glow.

French Red Clay cleans out the skin from the layers of dead keratinized cells, and accelerates the regeneration process. It is deal for easily irritated, sensitive and dehydrated skin.

I have dry and dehydrated skin and that’s the reason I picked this one.

 I don’t have wrinkles so can’t comment on that but it definitely exfoliates my skin gently and makes it look fresh, clean and supple. You have to use it to experience the effect, once wet it is soft and squishy.

My skin feels soft and extremely smooth after using it.  It also helped even out my skin tone.

I have been using other skincare products as well so don’t know if it’s working all together but definitely I have seen changes to my skin. My skin feels fresh, clean, and tight (in a comfortable way) each time I use it. It doesn’t make my skin dry or stretchy, but silky smooth and supple. It works wonders on pores as it claimed, I had problem with my open pores around my nose and there the sponge worked in a great way.

It tightened my pores and now pores have almost disappeared. *Iamlovingit* ^_^ On regular usage you can definitely see best results.

KONJAC FRENCH RED CLAY FACIAL PUFF SPONGE  is gentle on skin, it restores PH Balance, deep cleanses, exfoliates gentle and refine pores, cleans dirt or oil from face. It is delicate enough to use on eye area. It also claims to remove makeup (I haven’t tried that way yet).

The puff sponge is approx 8cm wide, perfectly fits into palms. You can use with or without any cleanser, I prefer not to use cleanser and avoid any sort of chemical contacts that way it will last for longer time. I use the puff along every morning and my skin is feels soft and silky- all new again 😀  . After using it keep the sponge in clean dry place so that enough air can pass by. It may take almost a day for the puff to dry completely. Once dry it will again shrink back to its original shape!
