Mac Lustre Patisserie A32 Lipstick: Review & Swatches

From the longest time I was hunting for a nude lipstick and what could be a better address than mac!!!!!!!! Nudes sound very easy but it can be a tough task to find out the perfect nude because If you go slightly wrong with the color, you would end up looking like a dead person(seriously I have seen people looking like zombies!!!!!!) I tried on many colors and finally found out Mac Lustre Patisserie and it makes me smile every time.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH  Mac Lustre Patisserie A32 Lipstick

PATISSERIE is a luster finish lipstick from Mac. Luster finishes are supposed to be creamy, moisturizing, sheer and glossy. It’s a pleasure to apply this lipstick because it glides on smoothly and it is so moisturizing that I don’t even have to use a lip balm before applying this.

It takes care of dryness also to some extent. My lips don’t feel dry even hours after application however it slightly settles into fine lines but not to an extent that should be bothersome.

The color of it is neutral pink. I feel that it is pink with brown and peach hues to it. It is very pretty neutral color. It will look good on almost all kinds of complexion. It’s a versatile shade. You don’t have to look for an occasion to wear it. When worn with smoky eyes, it will give you a sexy look, and if worn alone with a dash of kajal, it will make you look young. When I can’t decide what I have to wear, I reach out for this lippy without thinking twice.
Pigmentation wise this lipstick is a weakling. Belonging to the luster family, this is a semi sheer lipstick. It’s more like a gloss.one swipe is not enough to show the color, you will have to layer it to see some color. Being a very light shade it stays on for a maximum of two hours. Below I have swatched the lipstick  by applying SEVERAL coats to show the exact colour!

TURN ON: MAC PATISSERIE LUSTRE FINISH LIPSTICK

1)  It’s a beautiful colour.

2)  It has really nice finish.

3)    Great moisturising ability.

TURN OFF: MAC PATISSERIE LUSTRE FINISH LIPSTICK

1)    Poor staying power. For two hours maybe.

2)    Price.
