Blemish balm/ beauty balm and are kind of tinted moisturizers. Here I will be talking about my new COMPLEXION CARE CREAM, a latest from LAKME.

 HOW TO USE

MY EXPERIENCE  WITH LAKME CC COMPLEXION CARE CREAM ALL IN 1 INSTANT SKIN STYLIST SPF20

LAKME CC COMPLEXION CARE CREAM ALL IN 1 INSTANT SKIN STYLIST SPF20 comes in a skin colour sleek tube. The texture of the cream is soft and has yellow tones. It blends well on the fingertip but when I started blending it on face ,it took a little time as for my face the texture was a little thick. I dotted my face with several dots of the cream and started blending it by patting it softly. This way I was able to blend the cream well. I think just quickly blending won’t help you. Use the dotted method and you will be good to go.

According to me the coverage is sheer to buildable medium. When I first applied it the face looked matte but after a while it gave a dewy look. Instantly it brightened my face. It’s very light and its like wearing no makeup at all!  I like it.  It evens out the skin tone as well.

The cream didn’t hide my pores, acne/acne marks etc.  Still I don’t know what makes me like this. I like it maybe because of the low price of it and a slight glow that I got after applying it. It is very light weight as well. It has a strong smell like that of many lakme products which fades after some time. The best thing about it is that I like how it’s so soft and light on my face.

It stays on my face for 2 hours beautifully and that’s a good time period for a cc cream. After all it’s not a foundation. After this my oily skin needs touch ups. I particularly don’t like setting my base with compact and do it only when it’s very important like during functions and all, as I don’t like layering my face too much. I blot my face with a tissue and its all fine again.

It has spf 20 but I haven’t been out with this cream on my face so cannot comment on that.

1)    It moisturized my oily skin well.

2)    Gives an instant glow to the face.

3)    It is very light weight

4)    Affordable price and the quantity of the cream is nice.

5)    A nice break from your regular heavy foundations!

6)    It did even tone my skin to some extent.

7)    Because of the glow the face did look fresh.

TURN OFF: LAKME CC COMPLEXION CARE CREAM ALL IN 1 INSTANT SKIN STYLIST SPF20

1)    Only two shades available which will be disliked by many

2)    It has sheer to medium coverage which didn’t hide my acne marks.

3)    Stays on my face for two hours after which I start getting shiny face because of oily T-zone and the cheek area.

COSMOCHICS RATING:  4.5/5 ( LAKME promised only basic coverage which it gives and brightens  the face I give this rating for the good and simple work the cream did and also for the honesty! No high claims no high result…I like it!)

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- Lakme complexion care cream will be loved by those who already have healthy acne free and blemish free skin. The coverage doesn’t hide the rigid marks. It did brighten my face a little and gave healthy effect which stayed on my face for 2 hours without any touch-ups.
