Winter is coming…!!! That’s the only thing that keeps going in my head every day, ever since the time I’ve stepped in Beijing. I dread winters for so many valid reasons like the weather gets cold and dry, outdoor activities get restricted, and the most important one is that I have to cover myself in so many layers of clothes that it makes me look so depressingly fat. I’m sure most of you girlies will agree with my last point. Hence, in order to adapt to the climate and to prevent myself from any further miseries and depression of staying indoors, I decided to go shopping for winter wear. The whole idea of shopping gave me a new high and motivation to head out. And here I was amongst many other foreigners at the famous Yashow Market trying my luck for a good purchase and bargain.

Two hours and more than a dozen shops later I realized that my love for the color red was growing stronger this season. Hence, without wasting any further time and my husband’s patience, I decided to add this beautiful red jacket to my wardrobe. The best part of the whole deal was that I got this for 350 Yuan while the shopkeeper quoted 2500 Yuan.

Nothing makes a girl happier than a good purchase that comes along with good bargain.

So here are few tips that might come handy:-

1.Team up your jacket with your denims or a colored pant (colored pants are very much in vogue and look very chic)

2. Wear warm leggings underneath your pants to keep yourself snug.

3. Complete the look by teaming up the outfit with boots and a scarf
