By now you all must be aware of my love for Fabindia products. While at the counter, I came across this gel based scrub which I instantly grabbed because in summers I like to stay away from cream based scrubs as they feel heavy. Another advantage of this scrub was that it had neem and tulsi as active ingredients which is refreshing,purifying and beneficial to the skin.

Our body and face gel scrub, especially formulated for daily use is made with natural active ingredients. It gently exfoliates the skin leaving you feeling refreshed and invigorated all day long.

Apply a scoop of the scrub to wet skin and gently massage all over the body in circular motion, focusing on rough skin areas. Rinse and clean thoroughly.

My experience with Fabindia Neem Tulsi Face & Body Gel Scrub

Thi s scrub comes in a plastic tub packaging. It is a green colored gel with walnut shell powder as exfoliantes and crushed neem leaves which can be seen. The fragrance is that of tulsi which is very fresh and mild.

This scrub is very gentle and perfect for sensitive, acne prone or troubled skin. It exfoliates to reveal the fresh layer of skin, still it is very delicate on skin. The afterglow is quite evident on the face. The skin feels pampered, fresh and rejuvenated. It does not dry the skin or make it itchy. I did not experience any breakouts or irritation after using this product.The gel base gives a cool and fresh feel to the skin.

While I found that this scrub is perfect for my face, the downside is that it did nothing as a body scrub. Its very mild to scrub the body and the quantity is not sufficient to be used all over. If I do so it will be an expensive affair and would require a lot of stocking. It’s just too gentle as a body scrub so I will use it only for the face.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”–  If you are looking out for a mild scrub for sensitive or troubled skin, look no further. This scrub will suit all skin types however I feel that it’s gonna be a hit amongst oily skinned people.
