Hey Everyone,
If you read my blogs, then you might be aware of my love and loyalty towards The Body Shop Body Butters. As seasons change, the variant of my Body Butter changes but the brand is always the same. The Fuji Green Tea Body Butter was purchased somewhere in October last year, but due to its light texture, It did not work for me then, so I switched to The Wild Argan Body Butter. Past couple of months have been pretty humid and sticky here in Mumbai so I started using the Fuji Green Tea Butter again.

Packaging is the regular TBS tub, so nothing to be described here. The texture is very light, probably the lightest of all the body butters that I have tried. Its almost like a hybrid of butter and lotion, which is great because not everyone is fond of thick, heavy creams. It absorbs quickly and leaves the skin soft, smooth and hydrated without feeling greasy or heavy. What I love about this body butter is the fragrance, it has a clean, fresh and crisp fragrance of green tea. The smell is mild and lingers on for quite some time. The fragrance is capable enough to rejuvenate your senses and unwind after a long tiring day. It’s a good break from fruity, floral or nutty fragrances.
The collection also consists of an exfoliating soap, body scrub, body wash, body sorbet, body lotion and EDT. So if you like the fragrance, then go ahead and buy the body wash and EDT to layer the scent, that way it will last longer.
The packaging says that the body butter is meant for all skin types but it did not work for me when my skin was dry. If this is the case of body butter then I assume that sorbet and lotion will be even lighter.
Ingredients :
“Info On A Silver Platter”
A great option for people who put up in a hot/humid climate or for those who have normal skin that needs just a little bit of moisturisation. The fragrance is fresh and invigorating, I am enjoying this body butter currently because, in this weather, my skin demands something richer than a sorbet or lotion, yet lighter than a butter. I’ll switch to a heavier cream in the coming months when my skin gets extra dry.
